“Paint It Black” is a song by The Rolling Stones band, written by the songwriting partnership of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and first released as a single on 6 May 1966. Musically inspired by the sitar playing of George Harrison, was influential in developing the musical styles of psychedelic rock and raga rock.
